Another way to keep your survival bracelet handy is to wear it! These bracelets are also constructed using parachord in a variety of neon colors. They are of a variety of colors. Cheryl Gordon, Catawba Tribal member handcrafted these bracelets.
Survival Bracelets are made form parachord (parachute cord). You can easily unravel the cord to have string available for securing nets to trees, tying equipment together, etc. The core of the paracord or "the guts" can also be removed when finer string is needed. This can be used for sewing thread, fishing line, or to help start a fire with. If a thinner or less elastic cord is needed the core can be removed from the parachord.
